It is not clear how this VRX deal fits with the much-spruiked medium\long-term strategy at all. We just wasted $11m that could have been spent on developing our good prospects.

Down the track, BB needs to be very careful not to fall into the trap where he feels obliged to prop up this very bad investment with more cash, in the vain hope that he will be able to protect the $11m he just handed over.

If they come for more cash, BB, just bail. We'll forgive you if you keep managing the gold mines properly.
