However with gold you have the ability to be able to hedge or take put options to derisk and with gold still probably in Contango that would have been the better option IMHO especially with finance probably needed for Asburton.
And dont bring up Sons of Guala as a reason not to hedge that was an inability to deliver based on poor managment.
