Over two-thirds of Coalition voters back Malcolm Turnbull as the better leader of the Liberal Party compared to Tony Abbott, according to the latest Sky News/ReachTEL polling.
Conducted exclusively for Sky News, the poll shows 72.8 per cent of Coalition voters back Mr Turnbull's leadership.
The prime minister is preferred to his predecessor among all demographics, except supporters of Pauline Hanson's One Nation party.

The polling comes after a week of infighting within the party, with Mr Abbott repeatedly criticising the direction of the Turnbull government.
On two-party preferred terms, the Coalition continues to trail Labor 48 per cent to 52 per cent, a point better than the last Sky News/ReachTEL poll of 47-53 after the budget.
The Coalition has a primary vote of 33.9%; Labor 33.1%; The Greens 9.6%; One Nation 9.1%; Others 7.2% and 7.1% of voters are undecided.

The polling conducted on Thursday afternoon across Australia also asked about voters for their policy preferences.
On same-sex marriage, 62.4 per cent of those surveyed support same-sex marriage; 25.9 per cent oppose its legalisation, while 11.7 per cent remain undecided.
Almost 60 per cent of voters would prefer same-sex marriage to be decided through a plebiscite compared with a vote in parliament.
Support for a plebiscite among Coalition voters stands at 66.3 per cent while among Labor voters it stands at 47 per cent.
