Abbott is unwanted by a great majority of Australians. IMO one of the failings
of Turnbull is to put paid to Abbott’s undermining. Thats probably what Sheridan means when
he refers to the coalition dying on its knees.
Mind you, given that recent events seemed to indicate that Abbott could be trying for a comeback,
it may well work in Turnbull’s favour, as any hint that the Liberals might entertain such a thought
will have voters strongly supporting Turnbull in the polls to show the bedwetters the folly of considering
a return of Abbott.
