    Hard to pick, Sojourner, but that's the future for ya.

    On the one hand, yes, higher tariffs on Chinese stuff imported into America might result in fewer sales and less demand for our resources but against that you have:

    1) China doesn't care if it sells the stuff it makes. Case in point all those empty cities. It will continue to make stuff just to keep its people working and not thinking too much about where their next meal is coming from or their place in the natural order of things.

    2) China has a reputation for exporting cheap plastic crap that doesn't have any iron in it.

    So yeah, the resumption of the trade war could be problematic but I'm not sure that it will be as big an issue for BHP holders
