Young people are generally idealistic, some studies say they are more open minded but i think they get that mixed up with empty mindedness and naivety
To be open minded you need to be aware of your biases, cultural identity and belief systems around that and how they influence your thinking, where youve gained your information and as importantly that you are able to also consider opinions that may be different to your own.
Young people will lack skepticism and genrally should have less bias but this doesnt lead to open mindedness, you need skepticism to help open your mind otherwise you just buy any information youre given
Im still of the opinion increase voting age to 25 and above and cap kit at whatever the current retirement age is
