Franking Credits attached to special dividend take the effective value just above the $9.15. some of the big funds may be playing hard ball but at the same time the SP isn't rising past 9.22.
Franking Credits would make up 15-16% of the special div - let's say just under 6c credit. I am surprised that it has pulled back from 9.30 and staying so close to the apparent bid value. Spot oil price has dropped recently although some it will be smoothed out in the gas pricing structure.
