You are right - it's my speculation purely that any funds would come after the AGM. Whether shortly or (longly) after, I don't know.
Reality is we have only 7 business days left until the meeting which skews the probability in favour of my opinion
But think about it: 89.5M options at 10c and 5.5c for management and business associates are at stake compared to 563M shares. That's around 15% of the company.
If the new funds come in at USD 20c or AUD 26c per share issued, and the options are not extended - that's a lot of money missed out by the option holders. As an option holder, it would be in your interest to secure the extension first right?
Like other guys here, I understand and empathise with your extreme frustration at the unbelievable delay. But that's how corporate finance works...
