The performance hurdles for the bonuses are kind of strange in that:

1) The DFS is coming out anyway and significantly late.This is akin to paying someone a large bonus to turn up to work for the next 8 weeks.

2) A finance package closer to $150m than $50m is required to advance Sorby Hillls without completely destroying shareholders by significant dilution.

Reasonable questions are:

a) If Mr Noon and Management require free shares issued to them to do their jobs, are they the right people for the job?

b) If future shareholder dilution is significant, irrespective of whether the project gets up, where is the value to existing shareholders?

I suspect that shareholders would wholeheartedly approve of $0.50 options being issued to management. The problem with freebies is that any share price above $0 makes money for management. What kind of incentive is that? If someone offered me free shares in any listed company I would accept them.
