    Vice President of Aquapheresis
    Ed Rychlick joined Sunshine Heart in May 2016 as the Vice President and General Manager.

    With over 25 years of experience and co-creator/co-inventor of the award winning Aquadex Flexflow device, Mr. Rychlick has worked in multiple roles of increasing responsibility throughout the complete medical device lifecycle from concept, to commercialization, to globalization. With a special focus on heart failure and cardiorenal syndrome, Mr. Rychlick has most recently worked with Baxter International as Director of Global Marketing, Gambro AB as Director of Therapy Development, and with CHF Solutions in numerous roles.

    From engineering, clinical research, operations, market research, new product planning and launch, sales, and marketing, Mr. Rychlick provides unique, cross functional and diverse skills and experiences with a focus on complete therapy and multi-product portfolio strategy, management, marketing, and commercialization.

    Mr. Rychlick currently holds 15 patents and received a Bachelor of Science degree from Harvard University in electrical, computer, and systems engineering and a Master’s of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Electrical/Biomedical Engineering and BioSystems.
