Speaking to my better half about cloud solutions, VPC is probably entrenched in some ASX 200 companies simply because it is specialising in a particular area.
My better half works for one of the multi-nationals below in a senior executive role.
The competitors in the cloud based E-learning platforms are small companies such as
SAP
Oracle
Microsoft
IBM
These guys (Velpic) in my opinion are pushing wheel barrows up hill. For what it's worth a chairman's/chairwomans's duties is not as big as it is cracked up to be. They attend around 12 meetings a year @ around 2-4 hours a time. Basically money for jam. Can be paid for a non-executive role $10,000 - $20,000 a meeting. Just for conducting a meeting. Work that out on a hourly basis!
Take a while to play out? Too much competition with the big boys.
