CONTINUUM RESOURCES INC ("CNU-V") DENSTONE VENTURES LTD ("DST-V") - Continuum Announces Completion Phase To Begin At Anvil Bar - 75-26 Well Continuum Resources Inc. announces that the Company has been informed by the San Antonio Project operator, Trio Petroleum Ltd. of Bakersfield, California and Denstone Ventures Ltd., that the Anvil Bar 75-26 well has drilled past 9,700 feet.
The main objective of the exploration well, the Vaqueros Sandstone, was encountered at 9,100 feet and the well has to date intersected over 600 feet of potentially productive sands. Significant oil and gas shows were encountered beginning at 8,750 feet in the highly charged overlying Monterrey Shale and continue into the Vaqueros sands.
The operator has determined to proceed to the completion phase of the project as soon as the well reaches total depth, expected within the next few days. Previous drilling by Texaco in 1983 perforated intervals between 10,970' and 11,230' produced 500 barrels per day of 38 degree oil cutting 20% water, with gas flaring. Further details on the well completion will be announced when available.
