There are no guarantees in this game. The sooner everyone realises that & stop blaming others for not taking profits when they had the opportunity the better. Others who managed a profit already, congrats… that’s what we’re all here for isn’t it, to get ahead ?
Not unlike a high proportion of ASX listed small & mid caps, VR1 has a habit of getting sold down in the lead up to the end of financial. It is certainly not alone in that. Very soon following however, VR1 also has a history of bouncing to celebrate the new financial. How high is the biggest question.
Again, there is no guarantee of this, but if you don’t have a ticket, so be it… I respect your caution. But those of you here without any intent ever on getting one, then your reasoning for being here is kinda weird IMO & something I cannot grasp.
For the traders who are hesitant of the obvious current resistance at 0.051 & assume it will continue be just that, then I struggle to understand you not considering buying today at 0.042 & setting a sell just below at 0.050. Provided correct, you would be up around 19%... (not bad for a relatively safe short term trade I would’ve thought). For others with a longer time mindset, entry now rather than when assumedly that resistance is broken, then IMO now could well be an excellent entry (rather than pay considerably more come next month & the one after if history is anything to go by). However that’s just my observation & everyone is entitled to their opinion as we will no doubt hear.
Unfortunately as long termers, over the last few years we’ve seen some significant profit taking opportunities lost & anti-climactic rollercoaster rides to this point which will no doubt continue. Hopefully our patience will be rewarded in time. I am ecstatic that management haven’t wasted any good news in an effort to combat the inevitable tax loss selling that always comes this time of year. Lets be honest good news being sold into negates its positivity & assists only those looking to sell out. A friendly reminder that on the last day of financial last year on 30/6/22 a progress update was released which resulted in a 16% gain that day alone, minus 3% the day following then additional 20% the day after.
Admittedly (contradictory to the SP movement), this year Vections expenses have grown significantly. In their defense, Vection has also grown in revenue turnover, staff numbers & stature. I see potential being recognised by the numerous partnerships all doing the promotion for us. Announcements are few & far between which shows a confidence & maturity not seen in years prior. The recent acquisition announcement shows there are other businesses such as InVrsion with similar target markets, ideologies & experiences, who are happy to join & be part of potentially larger team which in time will hopefully be of more significance than them going it alone much like JMC & BC have opted.
Anyways, I’m stoked to have been able to add to my holdings significantly in the low 4s (thankyou to anyone who filled my orders with your sells). I get the feeling, at the moment we are in a transitionary period not unlike a couple of years back before the big spike... the recent increased promotion on all media cannot be ignored. Particularly re constant online chatter on the upcoming AR / VR glasses, increased metaverse talk, obvious need for cost savings, AI, etc are all ongoing reminders there is a need for what Vection can offer. Resultantly a potential bounce may eventuate IMO supported not just by the other companies happy to join us, but also those that partner us & our clients who continue use our services. The low (relative) m/cap today & potential of significant revenue & resultant SP increase is real imo (particularly if expansion of the defense contract is given the green light).
Anyways, all the best both holders & traders for the new financial. I’m confident its going to be a ripper for us all. DYOR, my opinion only etc etc.
