The comparison to Altium is something that I use to ponder over some time ago and I didn't know wether it was wishful thinking or that some day it would look like becoming a reality, lately and even more so after the recent announcements and research note I am definitely of the belief that the latter is achievable albeit even if its becoming the little brother to Altium.
Altium was sold last year for $9.1bn whilst achieving a run rate of circa $280m US with 75 - 80% ARR. That didn't happen overnight. They were once down in the cents with a low MC and in debt spending money on their business to grow it, believe it or not - that's how you grow a business by reinvesting your profit back into the business rinse and repeat until one day you have more than enough coming in.
Vection only needs to be the little brother in this equation, if they can achieve the $100m ARR by 2031 then their actual revenue should be much more than that. They only need to achieve 1/10th of what Altium achieved to be close to a 20x play from here.
