You may not care about valuation but the market does. Companies may trade at elevated share prices for a period of time because a lot of expectations have been priced into it. But if the company is unable to meet expectations (like VR1) then the market will definitely sell it down. You see this everywhere, in all markets.
Remember.. Benjamin Graham (Warren Buffett's mentor) said that in the short term, the market is a voting machine but the long term it's a weighing machine.
