re: vrl on the move..but not vrlpa I thought it was up to the shareholders to vote on the deal Village Directors are proposing to buy back all the Pref shares. If it is ripping of VRLPA holders and I'm voting against the offer btw, wouldn't those big funds holding a truck load of VRLPA also knock back the offer, especially if NTA for VRLPA is $2.20..
On the other hand if there was no offer on the table, would the Pref shares be rising along side VRL?????
Sabre, I can't see how VRL selling off AEO is making the share price of AEO go up. There must be more to it IMO... Yes, the fact that they have more $$$$ will increase the price per share of VRL, but if they are doing it to buy out the Pref shares, then one would be cancelling out the other, bring me back to why the rise in VRL?? Good news??? I feel there is something more to the story.... But I guess the market knows what they are doing... for now anyway.
