G'Day sushi, I bought at 92c and got a 15c div (including franking credits), and bought more at 64c after the div was paid, so I've actually made over 50% on average - as I said before I'm pretty happy!!
Why don't you go back and look at your previous posts and see how wrong you were!
In my opinion the Kirby's have been trying to keep the price downto minimise the cost of getting rid of the prefs - I think they are worth more like $2 to $2.50 and I think the Kirby's would probably agree with me - hence the buyback.
That said am happy to take the offer and lock in the gains now, but I imagine some people who bought in above $1.25ish may be a bit pissed off - not sure if many people will vote against it - wait and see what the media makes of it tomorrow I guess.....
