The market has ignored signs of a major zinc play but there is a lot of potential. ZInc has had a stellar run this year with more upside to come and Zinc explorers such as Teramin and Ironbark have seen huge increases in their share prices. In terms of low COP, open pit as opposed to underground mining 4.47Mt @ 1.55%Cu & 2.42%Zn at the Jacobsbakken Mine are respectable grades and not far below Ironbank's project, while not being located in frozen wastelands of Iceland. PAN is giving us some broad hints that they have a major find on their hands with their revelation about the eastern zone near Otervatnet with confirmed outcropping of massive sulphides and zinc rich bands of massive sulphides overlying broader zones of disseminated copper/zinc sulphide near this site. No details yet but there are outcrops of high grade copper and high grade zinc have been mapped at various locations over a strike length of ~8kms”. PAN is cashed up with a solid income stream so no CR is coming our way as they drill these prospects.
