Virotec says US EPA confirms long term efficacy of ViroMine reagent
LONDON (AFX) - Virotec International Ltd said the US Environment Protection Agency has confirmed the long term efficacy of the ViroMine reagent developed from Bauxsol technology.
Executive chairman, Brian Sheeran said: "Virotec has patiently awaited the results of these independent trials for over three years and they exceed our highest expectations."
According to Virotec, the EPA, in a letter stated that ViroMine reagents may have several potential applications at the Gilt Edge Mine and possibly at other mine sites similarly affected by problems associated with acid rock drainage.
