Virotec International Ltd (ASX/AIM: VTI) announces it has added to
its stock market listings as follows:

1. Virotec has applied to Nasdaq for the listing of a level 2 American
Depository Receipts program on the Nasdaq Small Cap Market. The Nasdaq
examiner has advised that Virotec has satisfied the required criteria
to permit the listing.

2. Virotec has publicly filed a Form 20-F disclosure document with
the US Securities Exchange Commission and the SEC has declared the
document effective.

The United States securities markets represent the most liquid
capital markets in the world.

As Virotec has now satisfied all corporate and commercial
requirements, Virotec is able to list on NASDAQ. The actual timing of
the commencement of trading has not yet been determined but it will
coincide with the expansion of Virotec's environmental technologies
into North American markets and the directors believe it will provide
an addition to the necessary infrastructure for further strategic
global expansion. The market will be advised when the timing for the
listing has been confirmed.

The Form 20-F may be downloaded from the upgraded Virotec website,
www.virotec.com, which will be operational from Monday 23 September
2002.

In the meantime it is envisaged that it may be available from
www.asx.com and www.sec.qov. It is also available in electronic form
