Buying a tech for hardly nothing and then selling it for $18mill , is good business.
They will have (shareholder approval first) received all the initial outlay for Hydro plus 5% of sales which means f all as they have 40% of the company.
I cannot see any down side to this deal.
I have been a long term holder and had my fair share of frustration with VTI , But this in my opinion is the best way for VTI to go with Hydrotech. They cannot commercialize both techs with out requiring more income via placements.
this will give them an extra little cash to burn ,but also stop the outlay for Hydro.
Watch for the AIM market to kick on this week.
