I fully expect VTM to be number 2 on that list once the MRE comes out.
I am not too sure that 800ppm is not economic. Africa may have cheaper labour but does that outweigh the extremely poor infrastructure on hand? You may be focusing on the labour component more than is warranted.
Insufficient roads and energy supply. Probably have to pay yearly bribes to the Ugandan government lol ... North Stanmore we do not have energy or logistic issues. Stable jurisdiction. Potential Off-takers would feel A LOT MORE COMFORTABLE with an Australian supplier than in Uganda.
Why take the risk over there?
I think a 30% grade increase over IXR would make up for any African discounts IXR get along the way. Only speculation.
