I like the idea of the Ziptel connection as they already have market presence however it remains pure conjecture and I don't think that quote about video data over secure connections is necessarily a clue. The 'takeaway' from that quote is that Warpware is effective where their key competitors are not OperaMax or Neumob do not accelerate or compress https: websites – facebook and Youtube are https: connections.

The most compelling aspect about people speculating on a Ziptel connection is how it is obvious that Warpware solves a problem.
ZIP need Warpware. It is obvious other tech specs such as XTV if they want to reach the other 50% will need Warpware.
AWD's Oper8or claims it will connect all the message apps and telephone services (currently only on 4G) if your connection can't keep up, you're not going to be invited to the party
iot players like POK or wearable WAC are all dependant on data transfer
All these services are offering functionality content and service to an ever-growing market with a lagging infrastructure. The need for Warpware is there.

The only interesting "new" thing for me from the annual report was the reference to Cam Worth
"will carry out the development and further optimise and enhance performance of the Nexgen product"
this has been announced before, but I didn't think much of it, however for them to make and reiterate this statement can only mean that, while performing DD and getting "outstanding results", Simplisite have identified areas where they could tweak the tech the get further gains which is quite amazing.
