Nice article that, read it a long time ago, maybe somebody on the ARQ thread would be VERY familiar with it ;)
On acidising the formation... don't know whether that would be the optimal method in such a high por/perm reservoir with low pressure issues already. Acidising would just make it worse imho.
It seems to me that there is a lack of sufficient reservoir pressure do to no aquifer support?? or the nature of the VUGS and cavernous formation.. maybe gas lift or pump will be required if there is heavy hydro's down there?
Let's see what tomorrow brings. Hopefully a double header with SB and Valhalla.
