There was good pressure driving the mud out when they started to clean up the well. Then they left it sitting for 1 week with the mud column on top. It would have been better if they had continued with the clean up..somehow.
This is not a normal situation, I am sure that swabbing will have results. We should hopefully see gas readings with the mud this week again. However it may take a couple of weeks before we get the ultimate result of what is down there. I dont believe its water. Even water needs some driving pressure to come to the surface, and that has to be gas.
My hope is that its a gas cap over oil. However in that case another well or deeper completion is needed to get into the oil leg. In the meantime gas will do.
