Very porous and permeable reservoir is the host of most of the Middle Easts, and hence the world's, oil. Mud loss is just par for the course in the 100 billion barrel deposit in Saudi.
100 billion barrels would send EMR to a SP of about $100,000.
Of course I am using the chance of that occurring to fuel my infinite improbability drive. (see Hitchhiker's) - if you can't work out what I an talking about read some Douglas Adams.
