I agree. I am a new investor and have a big stake (for me) in VUL. I did not know what to do at 50% increase ($14), then a drop to $9. No time for upgrading stop-losses (falling sell), so to see multiple $10k packets disappear its stressful. But they weren't really there. Some say its greed, others fear.
Either way, learning to be happy with your plan. There will always be others who bought earlier, sold higher, had more patience in the dips. All learning opportunities.
