I checked Standard Lithium as they have similar direct lithium extraction, they are a little further ahead, as they have running demonstration plant, their annual target rate is 20k tonnes. SLL has 3.1 Mt LCE reserves, where VUL is estimated at 15.37 Mt LCE, so 5x estimate is realistic.
What are the risks? Environmentalist that won't allow huge brine flows, because of earthquake worries?
