Hi All, has anyone calculated energy removal given the volume needed to create Lithium? I did and the numbers are quite large.... As in feeding back to the grid will provide as much revenue as the Lithium product or more.. Used salt water specific heat capacity and figures given in reports. Feels like I did something wrong but pretty basic equations so let me know if anyone else has done this... Havent taken of costs to run the Geothermal power plant into account... This is shaping up to be a big operation if figures below are even close to being correct. Is that why they cant tell us anything until PFS?.. For the energy taken from the brine to produce 50kt on Lithium Hydroxide at 90% extraction efficiency, then 60% energy extraction efficiency and taking only 30% of that to feed back into the grid give 555 million USD (minus costs to produce energy). Just playing with numbers in limited time but let me know if anyone else has estimated energy from this operation.
