I read the AFR article as well. Perhaps one thing the author neglects in the statement about Vulcan "spending only $1 million on exploration over the 12 months to June 30" is that it is not a conventional material sourcing company. As it is dealing with brine (ie. liquid), once the strategic holes are located/drilled, the resource comes to the installation, rather than having to drill many holes over large areas to locate seams of rock to dig up and extract. Is this one of the advantages of VUL?
