I Find the following extract from annual report is encouraging. Vul issued this as an ann too. Yea things can go wrong but seems all pointing right direction at this moment but having an alliance like EIT derisk the risk considerably IMO

European Support for Zero Carbon Lithium™ Project
Following a series of presentations to EIT InnoEnergy and its Business Investment Platform, as well aspresentations to the Vice Presidents of the European Commission and European Investment Bank14,Vulcan announced an agreement with EU-backed EIT InnoEnergy for project assistance, including withpermitting approvals and offtake negotiation15. Through the agreement, EIT InnoEnergy will assistVulcan with:• Securing project funding, including the use of applicable EU, national or regional grantschemes, and liaising with EU project finance and development banks;• Driving relationships with European lithium off-takers, aimed at the entering of binding offtake agreements;• Obtaining and fast-tracking necessary licenses for Vulcan’s operations in Germany and serviceswith respect to societal/environmental acceptance of the projectSubsequent to the end of the financial year, this was also followed up with a direct investment by EITInnoEnergy
