IF they cannot get some form of "DLE" tech working on this salar given the resource and location they can just go next door and ask Argosy for help.
AGY have produced tons of battery grade, end user tested lithium from their pilot plant.
Not teaspoons or buckets. Tons. Their pilot was more like a demonstration plant.
They are ~50% done with building phase 1 commercial scale plant coming online middle of the year and will start making money.
Although deleterious elements like Mg can be a problem, Pablo seems to have found a way.
Your blanket assertion that evaporation ponds is not going to work on this salar seems incorrect then.
That doesn't mean it is easy, nor does it mean others won't fail.
