As a non-holder myself, I find it strange you are so negative against Vulcan and try to instil that despair in current holders. They’re trying to educate the populace about risks and what they’re doing to avoid what previous companies have done.
The reality of it is there are huge lithium deposits in the valley area. The technology works, it’s just a matter of adjusting specific processes to the region. Be happy it’s Vulcan in the area. They’ve shown themselves to be ethically conscious and concerned about the welfare of the local citizens. If I were a local citizen, I’d be hoping they don’t fail because it’s guaranteed someone else is going to come along and replace them. Be happy it’s not BHP or Rio in the area! Your electric bills would be through the roof quite literally with the amount of cracks they’d cause.
