According to Prof. Dr. Steffen Kolb - University of Applied Sciences - HTW Berlin and Prof. Dr. Jochen Kolb - KIT, it is not yet known how the lithium got into the deep water. Therefore, it is not possible to say whether the deep water will be enriched with lithium again after extraction.

So it is possible that there will be nothing left after the first extraction - and Vulcan has already pre-contracted the extraction of several years?

Energy can be extracted for 20 - 30 years, but here, too, a cooling of the reservoir is possible. And the high corrosiveness of the deep water causes additional problems, often the expensive pumps break down (Riehen, München), in Landau apparently the piping has to be replaced in the next 10 years - expensive fun.
