Vulcan could have another problem. Since there was not enough space for the demonstration plant in Insheim, it is now being built in Landau. However, the Landau plant is repeatedly out of action for days at a time. I reported on the last shutdown with a photo. And one of the experts at the hearing in the city council had said that probably in the next (10?) years the piping of the borehole would have to be replaced because of corrosion damage. Then the plant would be shut down for at least months, and then even a functioning DLE system would be of no use there.
