Many shorts have covered now too at these lows. VUL has dropped wayyyy back to 75th on the most shorted ASX stocks list and the trend is plainly obvious. Imo the shorts that remain will likely get hammered if VUL announces a geothermal energy partnership or carve out, early EU finance, if we see another strategic investor step forward or up their existing holding, or something else comes out of left field to settle the sophs who very quickly filled their boots here a short while ago at $5.10.
