I have never met the guy, but his leadership record over the years in other ASX listed companies surprised me when I found his name as Chairman of VUL (being diplomatic here). The Rezos role at Vulcan has been discussed here on HC over the years
What I am impressed about is the appointment of our current Chairman. I will always see Francis as the visionary founder of Vulcan. Even watching his interviews since taking over the Chairmanship shows someone fully invested in realising the Vulcan vision.
With Moreno accountable for making it happen, Francis will be appropriately "hands on" playing a key role in stakeholder engagement.
