I also recall from my correspondence with Vulcan management late last year that they expected to hear whether Vulcan's combined renewable geothermal/zero carbon lithium project would be labelled a 'strategic project' by the EU in Q1 CY2024 paving the way to access EU/State grant funding such as the TCTF (Temporary Crisis & Transition Fund) in Q2.

These non-dilutive funding grants that to date have only been accessed by Auto OEMs and battery cell makers will comprehensively answer the lingering questions that many sceptics occasionally pop in here to question how Vulcan will meet its Capex requirement without a massive cap raise.

The provisional 500m Euro debt funding combined with the multiple government backed export credit agencies has already partly addressed this question. In the next few months, the final pieces of the funding puzzle will come together and those shorting Vulcan will have significantly underestimated the competency and vision Francis, Cris & team have to bring this project to fruition.
