Supportive regulatory news from EU:
The European Commission called yesterday in the document published below for at least 30m zero-emission vehicles to be on the road by 2030 part of its efforts to decarbonise transport and make the EU climate neutral by 2050 - with nearly all vehicles being zero-emissions by then.Also the EC that the new regulation on batteries will ensure that batteries placed on the EU market are sustainable and safe all along their entire life cycle. Sustainability and end- of-life cycle requirements, including on carbon footprint and ethical and sustainable sourcing of raw materials, are essential to reduce environmental footprint of electric vehicles.
