In the well known German children’s book of the same name, the robber Hotzenplotz is a crafty shapeshifter that ends up being arrested & locked in the local firehouse before being transferred (in the book’s sequel) to prison.
The blurb reads “The robber Hotzenplotz works hard at his job, waking early to hide behind the gorse bushes in the woods and wait for unsuspecting victims...”
“The Robber Hotzenplotz” was (appropriately) turned into a puppet show too. Perhaps the friends of JCapital own the theatre or the publishing house?
