You buy options (VULO) like you would normal shares. If you want to turn them into normal shares (VUL), you contact Vulcan and request an exercise form. Pay them 28.5c (from memory) each share, then they will be converted.
In January, if you don't convert them, they expire and become worth nothing. You may also sell VULO on the ASX until they expire as well.
