With RBA cutting rates to 1.5%, any stable yielding assets will remain in focus.
1. Banks obviously have great yields, but lack capital, and have very little NPL's. NPL's could rise, and capital could be raised = unstable yield.
2. VIVA is petrol stations, not commercial property. The tenants are long-term, and its unique. Average lease is 15 years.
3. ...3% rent increases per year this means that the dividend will keep growing faster than inflation.
Bottom line, if you missed out at the IPO price, buying at 2.50 isn't bad, infact its a 5.20% yield. I expect this to be heavily bought up to 2.60-70.. but with an ultimate target of $3.
