With VW in such deep legal trouble can anyone see potential for IMF to fund an action in this space?
Would consumers have a legitimate cause of action here on some grounds (remember, needs to be a civil cause of action, not a criminal one) so has to have caused loss to an individual or company as a result of VWs conduct / negligence / deception.
With multiple jurisdictions and clear fault, this could be a big one if IMF can organise well
