Yes, that was the reason management gave at the AGM. Basically it's only approved to be used if need be. Funny enough I was the only one at the meeting to raise my hand to vote against it at the AGM.
If they do raise funds I too hope they offer to institutional investors just to put the traders noses out of joint.
