Thanks to all who have commented on my post. Interesting.

So who is buying the oppies? My investing experience tells me oppies are a bad choice in a falling so trend. The mention of financing obviously means debt. That I dont like.

So China has the graphite monopoly eh? Other thoughts that come to mind are Hydrogen powered cars. That technology could be an interesting but the refuelling infrastructure is an issue. The car industry will look completely different in 20yrs. Google and apple will certainly lead that charge I think.
