Valence waits on market to influence Uley schedule.
Australia’s Valence Industries Ltd has said that it will not tie itself down to a timeline or ramp up schedule for its Uley graphite project in South Australia, saying that these developments will be influenced by market conditions.
Jarek Kopias, Valence’s CEO, told IM that now the company has received the necessary approvals to begin producing and selling commercial graphite products from stockpiles at Uley, it will align its future plans with wider industry trends.
"We have not released guidance on timing or ramp up of production over the next three years – this is driven by market demand," he said.
