VXR TA

I'll start a TA thread separate from the mostly FA post in the other threads.
So to start us, a few observations since I bought in early March. Post #:51525659

1. Everytime VXR gets above the 20 day EMA blue line (currently at 71.5c) she goes for a good run. I know for a fact that LICs and smaller Instos have the above 20EMA mandate on their buys. This tells me that there are still plenty buying even after the entitlement.

2. VXR likes to set Bear Traps or as I call them Head Fakes see orange arrows below. Buying from these head fakes and selling at the red overhead resistance to pickup free carries have been very profitable on VXR. My immaculately dressed 125,800 cornerstone units in that first post Post #:51525659 is now 149,600 thanks to these free carry trades. 177,720 units including the entitlement and options together and sets the holding at 20.6c

3. I'm hearing a lot of $1, $3 price predictions on the other VXR threads. Although a very nice thought I like my targets in the realm of reality in the short to medium term. Longer term 3-5 years sure... I own and still own NST all the way from November 2014 Post #:3906667. I have no illusions that there is a long road ahead of my VXR investment. Currently we only have 1 overhead resistance (see the red line below) which currently sits at 93c as of today 13/07/2021. These day dream figures are all well and good but let's not lose sight of where these resistances are because a pullback from these resistance is expected. So don't go buying the top and eventually get disappointed and sell at the bottom...

4. Don't buy the dips either, buy "from" the dips instead. There is money to be made in buying from the green support lines and specially the Head Fakes. Look at the RSI and Stoch, I find that these two have been a good indication of the top and bottom of the current channel in VXR. More so than the Bollinger bands...
