Rather than distribute a dividend and retain some of the cash to pursue further opportunities, I would prefer to see all the cash distributed and the company wound up.
Its much too tempting for management to guarantee themselves a nice salary for several year just depleting the cash without putting effort in.
After selling the Pilbara assets, they are a fundamentally different company to what people invested in, so if they want to pursue other opportunities they should start a new company and go to the market to fund that new company. Wind up VXR.
