Its swings and roundabouts for Perth's busiest dealmaker Tony Sage this week.
The Leederville office of his flagship company Cape Lambert Resources took a beating in Monday's hailstorm with a loss of its server leaving the group without email. It was particularly a bad time for the company to be electronically hamstrung, given it had hoped to have lodged its bidder's statement for DMC Mining by now.
However, Sage will be able to afford replacement computers and desk chairs thanks to a deal announced this week for Oklo Uranium to buy a handful of Namibian tenements owned by a private company backed by Cape Lambert. The flagship is in line to pocket about $6 million profit on a $2 million investment made last year.
