"Federal Resources Minister Martin Ferguson released a report yesterday which estimated that if WA and Queensland allowed uranium mining, between 11 billion tonnes and 15 billion tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions would be avoided globally up to 2030."

well thats just silly. to avoid the greenhouse gas emissions, someone would have to building extra nucular power stations to displace coal fired power stations. Its nothing to do with mining. And I dont think power station investment decisions in america or europe or anywhere else are dependent on WA mining rules.

These "report" serve little purpose except to illustrate what dills the "experts" who write them are.
